OVCA Bison Buds recently hosted an exciting visit to the Oklahoma State Fair Academy for our 3rd – 5th grade students. The group explored various 4-H exhibits and learned about the rich history of 4-H and its impact on agriculture and society. Students participated in hands-on exhibits, including square dancing and the Frontier Experience, where they witnessed forging with live demonstrations. They also spent time in the Activity Hall playing pickleball, creating flower arrangements, and engaging in brain games. The trip fostered both learning and connection, with friendships forming among students and adults alike. It was a fun and educational experience for all involved!
