Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy (OVCA)! We are thrilled to partner with the Statewide Virtual Charter School Board to provide a statewide virtual public charter school, and we are excited that you have chosen OVCA for your educational journey.

This year’s theme, “Paving New Roads: Innovation Starts Here,” reflects our commitment to creating innovative learning experiences that inspire growth, encourage curiosity, and prepare students for future success. We are honored to partner with your family as we embark on another exciting school year together.

At OVCA, we are committed to supporting every student through a high-quality educational experience that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, and lifelong success.

As a publicly funded charter school, OVCA makes it easy for you to be an active participant in your child’s education. OVCA families receive a complete curriculum, lesson planning resources, books and instructional materials, and the guidance of Oklahoma-certified teachers. In short, we provide everything needed for an excellent education.

OVCA believes every student can achieve their highest potential through personalized learning and the interactive, engaging K12 curriculum. With this innovative learning program, students demonstrate their knowledge and skills through the statewide Oklahoma Core Curriculum testing program. While OVCA has requirements for grade advancement, the K12 learning program allows families and teachers to work together to help students maximize their academic potential. Most classes are synchronous, but still allow for greater flexibility than is typically possible in traditional schools.

At OVCA, learning extends beyond the virtual classroom. Our Community Family Advisors organize outings to museums, libraries, community events, and other engaging locations throughout Oklahoma. These experiences strengthen connections among students, families, and staff while building a vibrant school community.

Our mission is to ensure the growth of every student through personalized learning while developing well-educated, productive citizens. We are dedicated to helping students set meaningful goals, create action plans, and celebrate their achievements. Through a strong partnership between families and educators, we empower students to become confident learners and future leaders in an ever-changing world.
