A Magical Night at the Chickasha Festival of Lights

This past weekend, OVCA students, friends, and families embarked on a heartwarming journey to the Chickasha Festival of Lights. Despite the long drive, the excitement and anticipation were palpable as everyone gathered to stroll through the enchanting park, creating new connections and cherishing lasting memories.
The group was wonderfully diverse, with students ranging from 1st grade to 11th grade. Yet, despite the age differences, there was a shared joy in being together and discovering their favorite light displays. The festival’s dazzling lights provided a perfect backdrop for this special evening.
One of the highlights of the night was watching the younger student’s bond over a classic game of Red Rover. As they called out each other’s names and ran across the field, laughter filled the air, and new friendships blossomed. It was a beautiful sight to see these young minds connecting in such a simple yet profound way.
As the evening drew to a close, the students linked arms and skipped through the lights, their faces illuminated with pure happiness. This simple act of unity and joy encapsulated the spirit of the night. It was a wonderful tradition that brought everyone closer together, leaving them with memories to cherish for years to come.
What a magical night it was, filled with laughter, light, and love. Here’s to many more such delightful gatherings in the future!
