LEAD COMMUNITY FAMILY ADVISOR
Kim Lynam is Lead CFA and has a varied work history including everything from waste-water laboratory technician to animal welfare supervisor. These experiences have rounded her thinking and made her passionate about nurturing and supporting the next generation of leaders. Kim earned an AA in Enterprise Development from Rose State College.
Anne Matlock is newly serving as Lead CFA for the north region of Oklahoma after having worked for ISOK as Graduation Coach for 1.5 years. She is an internationally certified Life Coach with a masters in Teaching, Learning, and Literacy. Anne has focused her career on helping people find individualized success.
COMMUNITY FAMILY ADVISORS
Stevie Baker is a Community Family Adviser for the Weatherford area community. She brings more than 10 years’ experience in the teaching, working with families of all backgrounds, and childhood development. Stevie attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University studying Early Childhood Education.
Lindsey Baldwin is a new CFA. She has worked with children for over 10 years. She has passion for supporting children in their education and making a difference in each child's life.
Lonnie Barton is a Community Family Advisor who joined the K12 team in July 2018. She worked as a social worker for almost 20 years before joining the team. Mrs. Barton has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Relations.
Lisa Benn is a CFA who joined the K12 team in 2014. Lisa came to K12 from the business world where she was an office manager for 20 years. Lisa earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Lisa worked with the Boy Scouts of America for 24 years.
Robin Brown is a CFA and joined K12 in 2018. Previously she was a first grade teacher in a brick and mortar school, but chose to spend the last five years at home with her children. She holds a BA in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Mrs. Brown and her family recently moved to rural Oklahoma and are working to build up their family farm.
Donnett Caywood is a CFA and lives in Muskogee. She is the mother of 3 beautiful children and a new grandmother of two and one on the way! She loves summer time activities, especially spending time at the lake with her family. She is new to K12 this year and is loving it! Her oldest daughter is also a new Counselor with K12 this year. Ms. Caywood has worked in school settings in different capacities for many years and has also worked with Juvenile Services for over 12 years. Her favorite part of all her work was and is helping kids!
Lindsey Colwell joined the Community Family Adviser team because she has a passion to assist in families and their students feeling like their voices are heard and they have someone in their corner. Lindsey has worked in teacher support roles since 2010 in a wide variety of roles. She has worked one on one with special needs students, provided student support to grade level teachers, and helped run public school library programs. She has an Associates in Arts.
Marianne Day enjoys supporting our students and families as Community Family Advisor for the Oklahoma City area. She began working with OVCA in 2012 and ISOK in 2016. She has worked in the field of education for many years and has taught grades 2-5 in both online and brick and mortar schools. She has an Elementary Education degree from the University of Oklahoma. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and family. She enjoys spending time with family and taking walks with her dog, Brody.
Erika DeLuca is a Community Family Advisor for the Norman Area who joined K12 in 2011. Erika DeLuca is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma… BOOMER SOONER! Ms. DeLuca has a Master’s degree in Human Relations along with a B.A. in Sociology and Business. She is also a Certified Teacher for Early Childhood, Elementary, Sociology, Psychology, and Social Studies. Ms. DeLuca taught for six years prior to becoming a Community Family Advisor for ISOK/OVCA. The perfect day for Ms. DeLuca would be playing football on the beach with her sons, Tyler and Michael Giovanni, and her doggies.
Lori Egnor is a Community Family Advisor with OVCA and ISOK and has been with K12 since they came to Oklahoma in 2009. Lori has a background in nursing and has worn many hats since working for K12 such as Registrar, Operations Manager, High School Advisor Lead, and Community Family Advisor. She is the spouse of a cancer survivor and is passionate about helping other by helping with research for the cause. She is currently working on a degree for Cancer Information Management while working full time as a Community Family Advisor.
Sonia Gaytan is a Community Family Advisor who joined K12 September 2018. She enjoys helping families achieve their educational goals. She is also able to assist families in Spanish.
Shelli Harris-Ketchum is a Community Family Advisor in her first year with K12. She holds a Bachelor's Degree of Applied Technology and is currently working on her Master of Indigenous People's Law.
Shauna Irvin is currently serving as a Community Family Advisor with OVCA and ISOK. Her journey with K12 first began in 2010 as a Learning Coach and then in 2011 as an employee. Prior to that she was a stay-at-home-mom, home educator, & manager of a small family business. She has worked as an Enrollment Support Specialist and a Family Academic Support Liaison with K12.
Brittany Kegin is a Community Family Advisor who joined the K12 team in 2014. She previously worked in childcare for 6 years and graduated from Rose State College with an Associate's Degree.
Amber Knoll is a Community Family Advisor and joined the K12 team in the fall of 2018. She brings 10 years’ experience in education, community service, fundraising, retail management and marketing.
Katie McAskill has a B. S Degree in Agriculture Education from Panhandle State University and Master’s Degree in Agriculture Education from Oklahoma State University. She enjoys working with students and helping them achieve their goals as a Community Family Adviser at ISOK and OVCA. She loves spending time with her husband Jake and children Bailey, Braden and Bryson.
Myrinda Morgan is a Community Family Advisor who joined K12 in 2018. This is her first year providing support to online students. Previously she was Area Vice President for a medical billing company. She enjoys serving the community in any way possible.
Megan Moser is a Community Family Advisor who joined the K12 team in 2014. Megan earned a BA in Psychology: Pre-Counseling from Oklahoma Baptist University.
Janece Pendergrass is a CFA who joined the K12 team July 2018. She brings over 10 years of experience in education working as a teacher and ABA Therapist. Janece has earned her BA in Early Childhood Education, and she has earned her MA in School Administration, graduating from Northeastern State University. She holds a certificate to teach Early Childhood Education, teaching grades Pre-K through 3rd. Janece worked with children who have Autism for 6 years incorporating Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy, and she taught for Tulsa Public School for 6 years before joining the K12 team.
Temple Pitts is married to the OVCA high school principal, Mr. Pitts. She is a community family advisor, and is new to the school this year. She has a bachelor’s degrees in forensic science and applied liberal arts focused in photography. She occasionally took pictures for both schools for prom and graduation. She is from Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is also a notary public.
Tracey Rafferty is a Community Family Advisor for the Fort Sill/Lawton area. She earned a BS in Biology and an AS in Respiratory Therapy. Mrs. Rafferty taught MS Life Science in NC and MS Science in Virginia. Mrs. Rafferty is a military spouse and has served as a volunteer in each military community she has lived in for 25 years.
Patricia Sanders is a Community Family Advisor who joined the K12 team in 2014. Ms. Sanders brings over 10 years’ experience in Education. Ms. Sanders earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business, concentration in Accounting from American Intercontinental University.
MaKinzie Spence is a Community and Family Advisor who joined the K12 team in 2018. She brings experience in special education, community service, team leadership, and development. MaKinzie earned a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University and a M.Ed. in Special Education from University of Central Oklahoma.
Keana Swadley is a Community Family Advisor for the Edmond area. She joined the K12 team this year in August. She previously worked for Deer Creek Public Schools. Mrs. Swadley attend the University of Oklahoma earning a BA in Geography.
Shereta Sweet is a Community Family Advisor who joined the K12 team in 2018. She has been an advocate for her community for more than 10 years. She has also been an advocate for children for 10+ years through agencies such as DHS/CPS and Childcare Licensing. Mrs. Sweet earned a Bachelor's in Psychology from Purdue University and a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from OU. She holds a CCP Certification (certified childcare professional) and is a PD Specialist for The National Early Childhood Program Accreditation.
Dawn Waite is a Community Family Advisor in the Tulsa area. This is her first year at OVCA and ISOK schools. She has three years of teaching experience at a private school. She has over 18 years’ experience in coaching and training teams in a corporate environment.
Sharity Watts is a 2008 graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in secondary science education. After earning her bachelor's degree, she began teaching in Mustang, Oklahoma where she taught 9th grade Biology for four years before joining the OVCA staff in Fall 2012. She earned her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Nazarene University in December 2011. Her certifications include the Biological Sciences and Physical Science. She transitioned from teaching high school science to the role of Community Family Advisor in the Fall of 2018 and is excited to work with both ISOK and OVCA, grades K-12!
Tina Wiscombe is a Community Family Advisor for Stillwater and surrounding communities. She joined the K12 team in 2016. She has more than 20 years in education, most of those as an elementary teacher and reading specialist. Tina earned her degree in Education from Oklahoma State University, and her Masters in Reading from Grand Canyon University. She holds certificates in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Reading Specialist.
