Rhonda Bellah came to the OVCA team in July of 2015 as the High School (9–12) registrar. She has since been promoted to be the Truancy Officer for both OVCA & ISOK part-time and the ISOK Encumbrance Clerk part-time. She is a native to Tennessee, and moved to Oklahoma after meeting her husband, she then started a family here. She has two beautiful children, Callie and Hunter. Rhonda enjoys spending time with her family and making trips home to Tennessee as often as she can. Although she is not a native of Oklahoma, Rhonda is a big Sooner fan, yet she still likes to show her pride and is a Tennessee Volunteer at heart.
Ryan McDonald has been with OVCA since September of 2014, and has been the School Based Enrollment Coordinator and Office Manager since September of 2015. He was born and raised in Enid, OK, and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2009, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, minoring in Philosophy. Ryan enjoys spending time with friends and family, learning new things, and watching Thunder Basketball. He is excited to continue his career with OVCA, and enjoys being a part of the education system.
Sondra Callaway is is the Encumbrance Clerk for OVCA since July of 2014. Sondra was born in Indiana and moved to Oklahoma when she was a teenager. She has been married to her husband Chad for 19 years. Sondra received her Associates degree in Liberal Arts from Rose State College and her Bachelor’s degree from Southern Nazarene University in Organizational Leadership. She is pursuing her MBA from Southern Nazarene University and should graduate in June 2018. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending all Oklahoma Sooners (Boomer Sooner!) football games, watching the OKC Thunder, loves watching HGTV and Food network, volunteering at her church, and scrap booking.
Rebekah Richardson began working with OVCA in February 2015 as a Title I teacher, and moved into the Testing Coordinator position for OVCA and ISOK that summer. Originally from Texas, she graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After teaching for a time in Washington D.C., Rebekah moved back to Oklahoma permanently in 2009. She and her husband have beautiful twin girls.
Christine Nichols is the Military Base Site Coordinator, at Tinker Air Force Base. She has been supporting OVCA military students and families since April of 2013. She holds a Bachelor degree in Behavioral Science and an Associate degree in Child Development. Her entire career has been dedicated to the care of children both as an educator and an administrator. She has been married for 14 years and her husband has served 18 years and counting in the Air Force Reserves. They have 2 children. She loves watching football and playing fantasy football. She is a New England Patriots fan (born in Boston!) and roots for the Oklahoma State Cowboys (Go Pokes!).
Lynne Diveley is currently serving as the K–8 Registrar. Lynne has been with K12 since 2013. A native of St Louis, Lynne is an avid Cardinal's and Thunder Fan and loves to root for Russell Westbrook. She has two children and six grandchildren whom she loves dearly. She loves George Strait and will sing her heart out no matter where she is.
Tristen Kimball has been with OVCA since October 2015 and is currently serving as the Special Education Registrar. Before joining OVCA, she worked in child care for 10 years. Tristen enjoys helping children learn and watching them grow. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her friends and family.
Courtney Murray came to the OVCA team in March of 2017 and joined as the High School
(9–12) Registrar. She is an Oklahoma native and has been in the professional field of education since 2006. She has been married for over a decade and has two amazing sons named Collin and Cory. Courtney enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, traveling, watching movies and reading a good book. She is excited to begin her career with OVCA! She has a true passion for education and the way it can positively impact the lives of students, their families and communities.
FASTeam (Family Academic Support Team)
Alissa Hicks came to OVCA in August of 2016 as a Middle School FASL. This year, she will be working with the K-2 graders! Prior to that, she worked at Jenks Public Schools. Alissa graduated from Northeastern State
University with a Bachelor's degree. She has lived in Oklahoma her entire life. She is married to Travis and they will be welcoming their first baby girl this summer. In her spare time, she loves watching sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, OKC Thunder, and the Sooners. She also enjoys being outdoors with her two dogs. Her favorite pastime is working out.
Michelle Winston is a Family Academic Support Liaison (FASL) with OVCA. She is enjoying leading her three children in their educational journey with OVCA. She enrolled her first child into K12 in August of 2009, when the school was still known as OKVA. She added the others when they were old enough for school. Michelle is now putting that knowledge of working with multiple students to further use helping other families. She started working for OVCA in June 2014 and this school year helps support students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.
Lisa Benn graduated from Northeastern Oklahoma State University in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in Office Administration. She worked in the business world until December of 2014. During this time she also worked with the Boy Scouts of America for 18 years. In March, 2015 she joined OVCA as a Family Support Liaison working with the 2nd and 3rd graders. She has also worked with the 5th and 6th graders and this year she will be working with the 7th and 8th graders. Lisa is married and has two sons.
Shauna Irvin has been a Learning Coach to two of her three children since 2010. She loves OVCA and the specialized curriculum K12 offers. She has worked for OVCA since August 2011 first as the Attendance Clerk and then as an Enrollment Support Specialist teaching Policy Sessions to new Learning Coaches. She is currently working as a Family Academic Support Liaison (FASL) supporting students in the high school. She values being part of a student’s support system and helping each student to reach their potential.
Pat Sanders joined OVCA in Feb. 2014 as a part-time Family Support Specialist and transitioned into the High School Family Academic Support Liaison position in Oct. 2014. She has a compassionate heart and loves to help students and families achieve success in their education. She has a Bachelor's degree from American Continental Institute in Business Administration/Accounting.
Kimberly Lynam has been a Family Support Specialist for OVCA since 2013. This year she has transitioned into the High School Family Academic Support Liaison position. She has an associate's degree from Rose State College in enterprise development. She believes strongly in the importance of school choice, and places high value in being able to school successfully from home. She enjoys being able to help and meet families who share those values. She feels blessed to work with young adults in the high school who are developing into strong leaders. She is continuously entertained by her children and pets.
Marianne Day enjoys supporting our students and families as the Family Engagement Coordinator. She has worked in the field of education for many years and has taught grades 2-5 in both online and brick and mortar schools. She has an Elementary Education degree from the University of Oklahoma and is currently working on a master degree at OU. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband and family. She enjoys spending time with family and taking walks with her dog, Brody.
Raeshelle Sharpnack is a Family Resource Coordinator with OVCA. She loves empowering students and being supportive to parents and Learning Coaches. She has over 20 years of Social Services experience and has worked as a Children's Counselor in a brick and mortar school but loves the experience of virtual school (more students to empower!) She attended ORU and has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and attended SNU where she received a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Having been a Special Education student with multiple learning challenges she is passionate about directing others to their educational success. She has 2 sons that play competitive sports, her youngest plays tackle football and AAU Basketball. Her oldest son plays AAU basketball. She has a dog rescued from the animal shelter and he is a Bichon Mix named Champion. She has a love for fashion and make up and she enjoys hiking, Boot Camp, Zumba, Kick Boxing, TRX/Cross fit or any workout that challenges her for stress relief and peace of mind.
Brittany Kegin is the Family Compliancy Liaison for OVCA. She has lived in Oklahoma her whole life. She received an associate's degree in liberal studies and previously worked in childcare for six years. She was the director of a childcare facility before joining OVCA. She has been married for six years and they now have a one year old son. She has enjoyed working for OVCA with the awesome staff and students!
Lori Egnor is is proud to be a part of Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy and believes in the concept of public school from home. Lori started with OVCA in 2009 as a registrar, transitioned to Operations Manager, and finally as a High School Advisor and Family Support Liaison. Before OVCA, she worked in nursing and for a local school. She has working in the education field for 17 years. She lives on a farm in a small community in Northeast Oklahoma where they raise cattle, horses, laying chickens, and Australian Shepard Stock Dogs. She enjoys working with students and families to help make online High School a positive education experience.
Deborah Mackey joined the OVCA team in November 2012 as a High School Advisor. She earned a degree in Business Administration from Rogers State University and has 16 years of experience working in education. She has previously served as an Academic Advisor, Student Activities Facilitator, and Mentor at high school and college levels. She has a passion for sharing her enthusiasm about learning with students and encouraging them to harness their full academic potential.
Raedean Rafferty has been a part of OVCA since 2009. She worked as an Office Manager to start out with, moving to different roles on the operations side for several years and welcomed the opportunity to work on the academic side helping families be successful in the Online School. She is proud to be involved with such a great school all the way around.
Athena Jarvis is the Graduation Coach for OVCA. She received her bachelor of arts in communications and a minor in psychology in 1997 from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. In 2002 she went on to receive her MBA from the University of Phoenix- OKC. She has been a program director and instructor in higher education for the past 14 years and is excited about working with the students and staff at OVCA.
Chris Dry is a graduate from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Chris earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Science Education and History, with a minor in Sociology, and earned a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling. Before joining OVCA in the spring of 2013, Chris taught in brick-and-mortar middle schools in Texas and Oklahoma for eight years.
Claire Mann is a Norman High School graduate who received her bachelor's
degree with a dual major in Psychology and Information Systems from Regis
University in Denver. While raising her two sons, she received her master's
degree in Marital & Family Therapy from Alliant International University in Irvine, CA. Ms. Mann has worked as a therapist in community counseling centers and private practice, and has taught college psychology courses. She worked as
a high school counselor at a brick-and-mortar school in Oklahoma City before
coming to OVCA three years ago.
Katina Bookard graduated from South Carolina State University with a bachelors in elementary education and a masters in School Counseling. She also has a doctorate in educational leadership from Liberty University. She is the 11th and 9th grade (J-R) High School Counselor, SAT and ACT counselor, and AP coordinator. She is highly connected to the military and volunteers with helping military families.
