How It Works (K-8)
The OVCA K-8 Program
Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy is a tuition-free online public school that uses the K12 curriculum, which is accessed via an online school as well as through more traditional methods. Materials are delivered right to the family's doorstep - including books, CDs, and even microscopes and cell samples.
We also partner parents and students with a certified teacher to help guide and track their progress through the curriculum. There are regular face-to-face meetings as well.
Student-to-student interaction is emphasized, too, so OVCA students are always well educated and well socialized.
Who is this intended for?
The Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy K-8 program serves students in grades K-8 who reside within the state of Oklahoma and comply with all enrollment requirements.
What are the costs?
Because OVCA is part of the public school system, Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy is tuition-free. Enrolled families receive the K12 curriculum, as well as full access to the planning and progress tools available via the OLS (online school).
How do I get started?
